CONNECTED is an emotional and physical dialogue between flamenco and contemporary dance—two distinct forms that meet, embrace, and reveal a shared essence through the body.
ANN & ANGEL
CONNECTED is a choreographic encounter between two dance worlds: the visceral strength of flamenco and the expressive freedom of contemporary dance. Created and performed by Ann Sehlstedt and Angel Gutierrez, the piece unfolds as an intimate dialogue between bodies that search, confront, and embrace one another—revealing universal emotions such as passion, solitude, joy, and pain. Through this deep connection, each movement and silence builds a bridge between the earthy and the ethereal, crafting a poetic experience that transcends both styles and words.
